How much does the service cost?

After the free trial period, the TalkPlus service costs $9.99/month for 1 US Talkplus number, 1 mirror number, and 200 minutes. 

What happens if I go over my minutes?

If you are subscribing to the TalkPlus service for $9.99, when you finish using the 200 minutes which is included in the plan,  you will need to add money to your account before you can continue calling. US minutes cost $0.027/minute.

How much does it cost if I want to add additional TalkPlus numbers or Mirror numbers?

Each additional US TalkPlus number or Mirror number costs $3.99. For international number rates, please go to http://talkplus.com/rates.html

What is a credit?

A "credit" is an amount of money placed into your account which is used to pay for calls, either domestic or long distance.  Credits are denominated in US dollar amounts. 

Where do I purchase credits?

To purchase credits, log in your TalkPlus account, and then click on "Add money". You can make your purchase with a credit card.

Can I receive a refund for unused credits?

No. Purchased credits are non-refundable.

Do credits expire?

If there are 90 days with no activity in your account (i.e., you have not either logged in to your account, made or received a call, or checked your voicemail for 90 days) then your account is considered defunct and the remaining credit balance expires.

What are promotional credits?

Promotional Credits are free minutes awarded to you by TalkPlus. Promotional credits cannot be redeemed for cash, are non-transferable, and are subject to expiration if there is no activity in the account for 90 days.

Which credit cards do you accept?

TalkPlus only accepts the following credit and debit cards from US, Canada, or UK: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover.  

We do not accept Visa or MasterCard gift cards.

 

Do you accept checks?

We do not accept checks as a form of payment. At this time, TalkPlus only accepts the following credit and debit cards from US, Canada, or UK: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.  

Are all accounts prepaid? When and how will I get charged for my TalkPlus number?

All TalkPlus accounts are prepaid.  If you have a monthly fee associated with your account and there are not enough funds in your account to pay the fee, then your credit card on file will be charged for the monthly fee in full.

Why do I have to be 18 or older to use TalkPlus?

Due to legal restrictions regarding accepting payments from minors via the web, we restrict TalkPlus subscribers to those who are age 18 and older.

Do you have auto pay or some other automated payment?

Yes. All accounts are automatically billed at the beginning of the monthly billing cycle, using the submitted credit card. If you would like to close your account and not be billed in the next cycle, please give us 30 days’ notice by contacting TalkPlus Support or canceling your account within the TalkPlus Contact Center.

What is Auto Top Up?

Auto Top Up refers to the process of automatically charging your credit card when your account reaches a minimum balance. You can set the minimum balance and the amount to be charged to your credit card.  Enabling Auto Top Up will make sure you will always have money in your account so you can complete your calls.

Where do I go to access my account online?

To access your account information, please log in to the TalkPlus Contact Center.  Login requires your username (your carrier mobile phone number) and your password.

Username and password was emailed to you when you signed up. If you do not have the original email, please contact TalkPlus Support at or (877) 403-5858.  International customers can direct dial TalkPlus Support at +1-650-403-5858.
Can you pay with two different credit cards?

Currently, TalkPlus only supports single credit card payment.  You can change or update the credit card you have on file by going to the TalkPlus Contact Center and updating your information.  Go to the “My Account” section and click on “Account Details.”

How much do you charge per minute when you go over your plan minutes? 

TalkPlus: Your account is prepaid, so once your go over the 200 minutes included in your TalkPlus plan, you will start using the money you have put on your prepaid account. If you have $0 in your account, and you have used up all 200 minutes, your ability to place calls and receive calls will terminate.

Is my billing information in a secure website?

The TalkPlus Contact Center, where your account and billing information is held, is a Verisign certified secure website.  To see the TalkPlus privacy policy, click here.

Will my statement show the TalkPlus Number?

Yes, your TalkPlus Number will appear on your online statement.  It is also available in the Contact Center.  You will not receive a paper statement.

What is the maximum number of accounts I can have on one phone?

There is only one account per phone and/or email address. When you sign up, you get one TalkPlus Number for your account.  You can add up to 10 TalkPlus Numbers to your account, by adding 9 more in the Contact Center.  There are additional monthly charges per TalkPlus Number, Mirror Number, or TalkPlus Global Village Number added to your account.

What is the maximum number of TalkPlus Numbers (virtual numbers) that I can have on one mobile phone?

If you have TalkPlus Mobile, up to ten TalkPlus Numbers (US only) can be added to each account, as well as 10 Mirror Numbers.

How much is your company going to charge if I close my contract before the due date? Can the bill be prorated?

All TalkPlus accounts are prepaid, nonrefundable. If your account has a monthly fee, please provide 30 days’ notice prior to closing your  account.  You will then have 30 days to use any remaining balance.
